L’ACADÉMIE DE DANSE
We provide excellence in dance training for students who have the desire to enrich their lives in the cultural arts, pursue a professional career or for pure enjoyment, increased physicality and artistic expression.
With an emphasis on classical ballet our students are trained following the standard, philosophy and methodology of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum (ABT).
Additionally, our carefully constructed programs are designed for students of the 21st century introducing contemporary dance forms in their curriculum as they develop technically, physically and intellectually. Students are offered classes in National Dance/Character Ballet, Modern Dance & Jazz.
Advanced students are invited to perform in the Long isalnd Dance Consortium Dance Festivals held twice a year. In addition all students are invited to audition for Long Island Ballet Theatre’s professional productions.
Placement for new students in one of the 5 levels of instruction is determined by a placement class that may be arranged by calling 631-271-4626.
