Dance Together
This program for the young child age 2 1/2 to 3 incorporates songs, stories, nursery rhymes that involve fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination and imitation of actions. Children dance in delight as they gallop on hobby horses, jump through hoops, dance with bells, and so much more.
Parents are invited to join in the fun.
Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.
Dance Alone
This program for the pre-school child age 3 1/2—4 further develops fine and gross motor skills through activities that awaken their creative spirit and enthusiasm for learning.
Activities include; marching, hopping, skipping, leaping, turning, mime and creative movement.
Basic pre-ballet positions are taught instilling awareness of posture and all the while encouraging class-room etiquette. Tap dance is incorporated into this program to further develop musicality.
Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes.
Primary—Ballet & Tap
This program is for children age 5 and 6 years of age (equivalent to kindergarten and 1st grade). The class incorporates age-appropriate ballet exercises, floor work to develop flexibility, strength and body awareness and across the floor dance steps. Students develop greater posture, co-ordination, stamina, balance and musicality.
